Dear Brother Priests and Deacons,

As you know, a leadership delegation for the Eighth World Meeting of Families led by Archbishop Charles J. Chaput O.F.M. Cap. and Honorary Co-Chairs, Governor Tom Corbett and Mayor Michael A. Nutter, is currently in Rome in preparation for the September 22-27, 2015 event. The visit by the delegation to Rome is focusing upon fact-finding and high level discussions regarding the Philadelphia's preparation for the World Meeting of Families, and officially concludes with a Papal Audience between the delegation and Pope Francis.

To show your support and enlighten others about the World Meeting of Families 2015, we encourage you to share information through your social media channels. We ask that you connect with our Facebook - Eight World Meeting of Families; Twitter - WMF2015; Instagram - WMF2015; and Google+ WorldMeeting ofFamilies and spread the news by sharing and retweeting information posted on these social media pages.

Today, is especially important for the World Meeting of Families social media, as we have partnered with Visit Philly and are attempting to get the hashtag #PopeInPhilly trending on Twitter today and tomorrow. We invite you to draft your own tweet asking the @Pontifex to experience Philadelphia using the hashtag #PopeInPhilly or retweet one of the many people/organizations that have already tweeted using the hashtag.

We thank you in advance for your assistance with generating excitement around this powerful and transformative event - which is expected to draw tens of thousands to Pennsylvania from more than 150 nations. Please pray for all those entrusted with organizing this momentous event that will benefit our Church and our region.

Sincerely in Christ,
Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Sullivan
